    hi all i have been asked to do some sign work by a carpet shop they are looking for a sign which shows rolls of carpet at different hights has any one done this sort of thing befor and will i be able to make clipart vector cut vinly look like a roll of carpet?? the sign will be viewed from 10 feet away min and about 8 foot high

    any help please

    You could simulate the texture of carpet with cut vinyl, but by the looks of the size it’d be a long laborious task. Could you not use a digital print of a carpet texture onto vinyl or something along those lines?

    This would be so much fun to paint!
    I would cut the rolls of carpet in vinyl in a black outline, then paint in whatever textures or colors I wanted to!
    Orientals, shags, berbers, linoleum, woodgrain…
    the possibilities are endless!

    these any good?

    i would have played around with the design for you but i don’t have signlab in the house only adobe ill. which i hate! forgot to add you can always change the layout & talk the customer round!! 😛
