Can anyone recommend a supplier / manufacturer of the chromed plastic signs, the kind on the rear of most cars that say Ford Volvo BMW etc.

A company as asked us to quote for a few hundred or so, but they are the larger size as on the rear of coaches and buses etc.

an inexpensive way to do this is make a single master out of perspex or brass etc and have it spun cast by a quality spin casting enterprise. Then bright nickle/chrome plate it. The finish on spun cast isn’t mirror smooth , for better quality , die cast and then plate. spun cast shouldnt cost an arm and a leg.
Otherwise injection moulded and plated is the other very expensive (the mould) option. Its not suited to low volume either.

I got a quote for something similar, ages ago.

They were only £1 each, but the master tool was a whopping £3K…..
