Can’t Print M Gold with the PC60
I really do hope some one out there can help with this.
Rob I know this is in the wrong forum but could not attach the file in the print one.
I have the file below, which is infact a cdl and not a jpg (this is to over come the download probs ie zip files) so to download it right click and save as….and change the jpg for cdl – this is a signlab ver 6 r13 file.
I have tried to print and cut the file below but with no joy, it prints the red and green but when it comes to the mirror gold no joy what so ever.
Why do i piont the finger at the gold?
because i printed each colour out as a block one by one, and the only colour it won’t print is the gold, i have tried a number of different gold carts, to no avail.
The printer just sit’s there with the busy and colour lights flashing. i have checked the bar codes on the carts and the colours in the work palette and all seems right.
Please please point me in the right direction, as the dents in the wall are becoming expensive.

Can you not peel the barcode off a red cart, overlay it onto the gold cart and fool the machine into thinking your printing spot red? 😕 Sounds bizarre but I did it with a blue that wouldn’t print, I just swapped the barcode for a magenta and it worked out okay (was only 3 stickers though, if its a long run, there could be problems with this… dunno 🙁 )

if the colour light starts flashing at the time it would go for the gold cart the pc60 is looking for a colour it has not got
wetheer or not you think its therechris
