🙄 Thanks, but thats just the forum suppliers list. As you all may be involved in purchasing vinyl i thought you may know the best and cheapest supplier that have suited you in the past.
Ive been trawling through that list all day, my heads cabbaged! 😮

Everyone here uses someone different. We all work with vinyl that best suits us, not always the cheapest.
There are a lot of of suppliers supplying vinyl as you have already found out. Its a case of calling and getting them to send you samples, colour charts/swatches, info and price lists, then see what works best for you.
Oracal is popular which is supplied by Paperco, Avery vinyl and Mactac vinyls are another two vinyls that a lot of peeps here use too.

Like Carrie says "Cheapest is not always the best!"
In fact…it’s usually the worst stuff you’ll EVER work with.
Most of us here only use 5-7 or 7-10yr vinyls as it’ll do nearly everything you require – vehicles, glass, stickers, shop fronts etc.
The ‘el cheapo’ 2 & 3 year is not really suitable for anything much if you plan on being in business more that a year or two.
Saving £0.50 a metre on vinyl may seem a good idea – but when it doesn’t weed well & won’t stick, think of the £100’s in lost time and business that won’t come back.
Also application tapes – cheap is rarely good. £35 for a log is a great price…but will be shocking quality. £55 will get you a reasonable quality one.
Banners – whether on a roll or custom stiched are cheap enough – and you get what you pay for.
Also for boards – some of the really cheap stuff is virtual rubbish & will fall apart in a year of external use (UV exposure). I have literally seen PVC & Correx signs disintegrate in my hands. (NOT MINE!!) Again £10 for a 5mm 8’x4′ PVC might SEEM great….
To be honest, if the margins & survivability of a business rely on whether a £200 sign or livery costs £25 (for crap) or £50 (for good) to produce then sadly it may be time to re-evaluate the market you’re in!
Anyway – best of luck with the venture!

I hear what your saying Dave, but i just need some chep stuff to gain experience with my cutter and application first. I always use quality products, but dont want to waste the good stuff until im more experienced with cutting, application etc.
Ive been looking at some Intercoat vinyl to learn with and some LG Chem to work with.
Has anyone had experience with the LG vinyl, any drawbacks or problems?
Cheers,
😎
