    Hi Guys,
I am having problems with the transparencies in illy CS3! I have had lots of problems with illy to versaworks:

    1. Shading- appears fine on screen and then if used in conjunction with transparency just prints a shaded box?

    2. Cut contours not being read with transparency??

    3. Vertical or horizontal lines appearing randonmly through out prints not on every print, but seem to appear when using shading or transparency??

Any help/comments considered! If you would like more info please come back to me!

    Thanks in advance

    Dan

Are you saying as a PDF?

What version of Adobes PDF thingy?

Are you flattening all your work before saving to PDF?

The cut like job select everything but your cut lines and flatten the transparency.

Apparently if you select Compatibility to Acrobat 4 it solves it as well.

If your using EPS flatten transparency on everything before you save.except your cut lines as it will expand them.

Yep my parents are from Malta well more specifically from the island of Gozo. But I’m born and bred in Australia.
