Hi guys, I have sussed out a problem with my p-cut 630, but cant seem to fix it, can anyone help?

The best way to describe it is, if I want to cut a rectangle 18" x 2" and I cut it so that the 18" runs along the length of the vinyl, it ends up 18" 1/8 long, yet the measurement of 2" across the width is perfect.

To sum it up, it seems the rotation of the wheel on the feeder is out? this difference gets worse as the distances increase.

I have read the other posts but have not spotted anyone else with this problem.

Some other info, I use Corel draw 12, then export into Artcut 2005 and in both packages the dimensions are perfect. My cutter is operated through the serial port com1 with no other problems.

    Cheers Norm

Ok I think I am getting there, I have found out that its the scale ratio setting that is wrong on the cutter itself.

Can anyone tell me what the correct setting for the Y axis is please.

What I have is X axis scale 25795 and Y axis scale is 25400 (at the moment as I have been adjusting it to see what happens)

    Thankyou

    Cheers Norm

interesting i think you have found the x calibration.
my guess is set both to 25400 cut a line 1 mt long and measure in mm.
brains gone dead as to the value to alter for each mm difference, had it sussed a min ago.
