can anyone tell me why design wont open please?
Hi
I have coreldraw 11 installed on 2 computers i have a design that i did on one computer but when i open it on the other it doesn’t let me edit the design.
Any clues to what i need to do .Cheers

never heard of that one lee, what happens when you open the file, does it give any message?

i did a design on the laptop then sent it by email to myself .
then opened it on the other computer in my workshop.
It opens in corel fine but i can’t edit it, no messages.Lee

Very strange, no reason I can think of why you cant edit.

this may be very obvious, but is the image locked or grouped? Cant think of any other reason

My first thought would be to ungroup it as when you import something it automatically groups whatever it is.

Ensure it has not opened into a locked layer.

Check the file attribute is not set to "read only" which would happen if you saved it to a CD.
