I have been asked by a Supermarket chain to quote for STRUT BOARDS for inside their supermarkets……

Having never heard of a STRUT BOARD I asked them what they meant just in case we had a different name for it.

What they are looking for is tall printed narrow signs, on a heavy card i think (but not sure) that can stand up straight on their own as there is usually another section like a fish tail sticking out the back that keeps it upright and stops it from toppling over…..

You often see these things in the format of a lifelike cut out of a person standing inside the door of a shop or something.

    anybody got any ideas…

    Darren………

Generally they’re called ‘Rudder struts’. We make them out of 5mm Foamcore cut to whatever height you need. Cover the straight edge with 25mm Hook velcro. Then apply a corresponding strip of velcro to the back of the cut-out/panel you want to stand up. Offer up the rudder strut to the velcro. Works really well.
