    Hi all

Can anyone recommend a wrapping vinyl that comes in a Matt finish??
I have been asked to quote for a full wrap on a connect van, in solid dark green Matt.

    Thanks

i dont know of any wrap type mat vinyls but mactac and some others do a 5-7 year polymeric mat vinyl.
the material does Handel differently from gloss types and gets dirty very quickly, and not as easy to clean as gloss.
we have done some mat black bonnets and trim but would not expect it to stay in panel edges.

If its digital print why not use a matt laminate over your normal wrapping base film ?

Check with your normal vinyl supplier if they recommend any laminate in particular, but make sure its cast and no more than 50 micron thick (prefer 25 micron but I`ve never come across a matt PVC laminate this thickness yet)

Not all vinyl manufacturers produce cast matt laminates and unfortunately board rules don`t allow me to name them

Alternatively if you know a screenprinter have your prints varnished with a matt clearcoat…..then if you use a cast base film you have no thickness issues and have a very conformable construction
