    A sit file is a compressed file produced by stuffit (usually MAC) so it may already be an eps or Illustrator depending on where it came from, a free expander is available from Aladdin Systems a google search should get their site.

    I am waiting for an email from aladin systems including a link to my free copy of stuffit so I should be able to open it in a few minutes.

    Cheers mate

    I have now downloaded stuffit and all the files are mac pdfs and I can’t open the bit I want as a vector.

    So stuffit I’ll sort it out tomorrow, I’ve had one of those days and now I need to drink beer.

    We have both Mac and PC with Adobe Illistrator on both, if you get stuck and files not to big to send I may be able to help.

    PDF is a standard.

    You can open them with illustrator and if they have been created originally in vector format you can use them.

    PDF is a standard it is true.

    But you need to unStuff them before they can be opened in anything!
