    Hi,
I want to screenprint with UV inks. Do I have to buy UV curing station cost 10 000 EUR or I can do it myself an UV curing unit.
Mostly I need it for UV Gloss varnish on 300gr paper, but also for glass and foam.
    Any advise will be appreciated.
    🙂

Cant comment on screen inks, but UV ink for digital printers requires that UV light to be type of UV light (maybe a, b or c of different levels) and the lights will have a life of around 500 hours when running. You will find that the lights will age every time you ‘arc/start’ the lamps.

I have found UV ink requires fractions of a section to cure and if the ink layer is thick, it requires more time to cure as you are only curing the top layer.

On UV dryers for silk screen the lights are very intense and require a very good cooling system. UV Ink seems to work best if cured quickly.

Thats all i can tell you

Thanks Dave, you can always learn from a man with experience. Unfortunately so far I have not find a way to cure it without buying the curing station.
    Will keep trying.
