The great type designer, Eric Gill, is credited with saying “he who would letterspace lower-case text, would steal sheep”. (The attribution is probably apocryphal: others are also credited with the remark. Stealing sheep was, in the 19th century, a capital offence in Britain.) As the remark suggests, though, letterspacing of upper-case text is less awful a crime; the technique used also to be used for emphasis of text set in Fraktur (or similar) fonts.

I think this applies even more to a script font….the spacing on the back of your car is increased however is not as bad because of the outline….

Sorry for being blunt, but I think changing it would be better…

Warren, the back is crammed, and the script is very weak throughout.
Is your tagline grammatically correct?
You might try a vertical layout for the back.
I would drop the logo down further into the body of the card.
The smoke thing reminds me of dirty exhaust!

Whilst I think the smoke is interesting, it bears no relation to the company name nor the service you provide, so I’d lose it. I agree entirely that the script is all wrong, the spacing especially is very wrong.

I also think a more simple font for the name number etc would be better.

Here’s an idea although this isn’t right either ……….
But I think it needs a new script font and a softer font for your name etc.

i just imported in to adobe p/s and rasterized it and added a bevel so i dont have an eps sorry i do like the colours and look of the bevel if you want i could have a play when i have more time , we will see what turns up in this thread

In regards to Marcella’s design I was wondering what the Grey vignette will look like printed digital and will it cause the white reversed text to be jagged? Sorry I have a litho and flexo print background and not too much digital experience.
