  • can anyone help with this logo please?

Posted by Nigel Fraser on 16 February 2004 at 18:21

Hi all, I designed this logo a while back for a customer who runs and prepares race/rally cars. He asked me to update it a bit, make it a bit more interesting. But without making it too full colour fancy effecty – it needs to be replicated on clothing, stationery etc too.

I need to get back to him tomorrow with some ideas and mine seem to have all but dried up 😥

Any help appreciated – I’ll try and upload a EPS version if anyone wants a play !

    Thanks

    Nigel

Here’s one -quite simple but using a racing track outline to tie the racing theme in and very simple to produce

Thanks guys, I love Joes too !
These are just my feeble attempts as the eye lids start to drop (sleep)

Dont think any are really doing it for me – at least there are enough to look like i’ve made an effort now though !

Can I pinch some of your ideas and show the guy tomorrow ? 😀

    Nigel

You certainly got some good one’s to show the customer. A graphic design company would have charged several hundred quid for that lot.

    😛
    Oh no……
    I forgot to put my copyright notice on these…. 😆 😆 😆
I did these up quickly nige, but the flag looks so much better stretched as you’ve done it in the top design and as well- the swirls finish off the second one nicely….really ties it all in well together.
    Hope the client likes it…
PS this means you’re buying the beers at the signshow but keep an eye on lambie or he’ll be on that cough syrup stuff again 🙄 🙄 🙄 🙄 🙄 🙄 🙄 🙄 🙄
    Cheers
    Joe
ps if you want a vector of the race car let me know

Thanks a lot everyone – that was a great team effort 😀
I guess I could probably run to a pint or two at the show – hope the customer appreciates all the effort that has gone into his job 😉

I’ll see how they go down tomorrow joe and let you know if I need to use your car design !! (obviously we’ll have to negotiate the license fee 🙂 )

    cheers,

    Nigel

with the state of lager north of the border mate, you’d be better pouring it straight down the pan anyway.

cut out the middle man, thats what i say.

    southern comfort indeed…

Southern Comfort!! 😮 Sounds like something you get from a cockney samaritan! 😉

Drink Tequilla! Its makes you happy! 😀

Nigel, at the rate this Sign UK drinks tally is going we’re all going to be way too drunk to notice if you’ve bought a round 😉 But just in case, could I have a pint of cider with a dash of lime and a straw 😉 😉

Glad you have some stuff for the morning though mate, I know you have your hands full atm, just pleased we’ve all helped to lighten the load 😀

    Cheers, Dewi
