  • can anyone help with scales and borders in photoshop?

    Hello,
I have a photo from a customer that has asked for a canvas print. Normally if the photo allows ( has enough space around the edge of the photo) i would print the photo so that it wraps around the edge of the stretcher frame. But this photo will not allow me to do that.

So i would like to add a black border around the picture about 1.5 inch wide all around the photo. I can add a border to the photo, but how can i make sure when the photo is printed full size that the border remains the same width?

I can use AI, photoshop or corel draw.

I hope some one can help

In Photoshop, select black as backgroundcolor and them re size the canvas
    (image>canvassize)
