Hi there,
Don’t know what the problem is with your current software, but I do just remember somewhere hearing about an issue like that.
I just posted a copy of Signscript on Sat PM – you can use this with corel easily if your stuck.Nigel

Do you know the history of signscript.
As you know this program is well over 10 yr old.
So simple to use, it does have some problems like
handling files bigger than 1/2meg .Was there any upgrades from this , or did the company go bust (?)
I’ve tried a number of other software for cutting ( exporting from corel )
signgo lite & flexi but none give the simplicity of Signscript. (?)Thanks

Dil,
I dug out the original book that came with the program – it was written by a company called Leewood Developments in 1991. I far as I can remember it was a partnership between two guys and I think one of them subsequently died. It used to come with a dongle but later was supplied without it. I have used this program as I said for 11years and it seems to do everything I want anyway, so I’ll stick with it !
1/2 Meg file must be a bit of a major cutting job by the sound of it ! Most of my cut files are under 100k (<(Nigel

Try this link http://www.uksignboards.com/viewtopic.php?t=4546
If that does not work then look under File/Font Swapping forum for Signscript thread.

The windows driver for The pc60 is 100% for cutting from Corel , albeit not the greatest.
Check its not a problem with Corel and the page size /margins etc , do a print preview and see the graphic isnt being truncated somewhere. It shold show you wahts gonna be cut.
Try the Roland boards for an answer – I know Im not supposed to mention other boards , but this is a specific one for your problem
http://www.rolanddga.com – go to the colorcam boards and see if the question has been asked before?
You can download the latest drivers there too for your PC60 , it might be an old driver etc? -
Thanks Nigel for that information.
I’ve downloaded your signscript file
I had the old dongle version, will try yours out. Thanks Again

It does mention on the driver download page that ‘There could be limitation in print length in case of using it on WindowsXP‘ . What the actual implications to that are I don’t know.

IN THE OLDER 95 98 DRIVER YOU COULD REDUCE THE DPI DOWN TO 150 AND IT WOULD CUT LONGER LENGTHS THAN AT 600 DPI
BUT ONLY WHEN USED AS CUT ONLY
TRY IT WITH THE KNIFE REMOVED SO NOT TO WAIST VINYLCHRIS
