    Hi

Im running corel draw 8 on XP and i have problem when i goto print and click the printer properties button, the dialog box is full of rubbish, things that should display, portrait/landscape/a4/a5 etc. show as ||||$| and other strange characters.

Have re-installed corel and printer..no luck. Have tryed changing the compatibility mode in XP for corel to all the different operating systems with no luck.

Anyone got any ideas im pulling my hair out!!!

chris if you do happen to remember could you let me know!
Have come to a dead end on this!!
What do you mean by language problem? I thought it maybe a missing .DLL Ive got build V8.369 and i know corels last revision was V8.433 but i cant get hold of that patch anywhere!! Corel have stopped support for it, it seems, i realise its an old package, but doesnt inspire confidence in buying 12 from them if there gonna pull the carpet from under you again in a few years time!!

chris in case this jogs your memory, the help ive got from other forums suggests it is because CorelDraw 8 is a 16bit application and Windows XP is a 32bit OS. Anyone else with any ideas of how to cure the above?thanks

thatr is the printer driver not coral – if i remember correctly it happened to me after deleting some fonts to make room for more but i got carried away i would have copied them back from another computer on the network.
i have had other problems with nun xp drivers on xp
