can anyone help source paper stickers please?
Posted by David.Smith on 29 October 2013 at 09:01Morning all, just had a customer wanting a quote on some paper stickers the type you get from the poppy appeal and the likes. Looked through our normal suppliers but can’t see anyone who does it, any suggestions?
Cheers

do you mean printable media that is adhesive and has a paper front?

Yeah, found some poster paper at aps but it’s rather expensive for what the customer wants. Might suggest just printing the badges on cheap vinyl instead and see what they say.

Thanks Chris, what does it come under? Just had a quick look but couldn’t see it, saying that the way this week is panning out it could be in front of my eyes and I’d miss it.

would probably work out a lot more cost effective if done on a copier (small format printer) especially if large quantities.
Just a thought

This is what we ended up doing for one repeat job we used to do. Ended up buying c25 self adhesive labels on a4 sheets from Allprint. Seem to remember they cost about £22 per 200 but could be wrong.

Trouble is they need cutting into 25mm circles after printing so think we’d be struggling on a laser printer. Tried some on some cheap vinyl and they seem to stick quite well to clothing so will give that a go.

That is exactly what these were, they were already cut from the self adhesive paper, we set up our artwork using a template so that the print was done direct onto the sheet of pre cut stickers(72 per A4 sheet I seem to remember). Allprint will let you have a few samples I would have thought to trial.
