    Ok Guys.

I’ve invested in Corel 9 not the most up to date software I know but all that I could afford at the minute.

Anyway I’m finding the software good but I’m having difficultly vectorising a logo.

    Anyone got any tips please?

    Cheers

This is not what you want to hear but……….

    practice practice practice.

    My tip of the day,

If you are vectorising something that is asymmetrical (ie: both sides are the same, like a mirror image) only vectorise one half and then copy and flip it over and join, this will make both side 100% identical.

    good luck.

    cheers

Ok guys and girls. I’m still struggling here to get used to this.

Does anyone have a simple five or ten step guide on how to convert a bitmap to a vector quickly and efficiently using Corel.

    Cheers

The quick way is to use Corel’s autotrace tool.

The good way is to use the drawing tools and trace by hand.

Some things are Ok to trace automatically, some aren’t.

The only simple answer is that you have to learn the software. Do a bit of searching (here and elsewhere) as this subject has been raised a lot in the past.

Also, perhaps you could tell us exactly what you are stuggling with and how you are attempting to go about it.
