can anyone help me set up my summa D120 please?
Hi everyone, not sure whether this is in the right section, but here goes ….
We run a Summa D120 plotter and use Omega V1.56 to run it.
Beginning of the week the PC went belly-up !! we have a temporary PC
running at the moment and will have a new one by the end of the week.Problem i have is the plotter doesn’t appear in the list of plotters i can
install through Omega ….. so which one should i run it as ?? -

Have you got all the updates for the omega from the Gerber site it may be in that? else you will need to set it up as a HPGL and set the size of the cutter as well.

I think you can just call it what you want!
As long as the drivers are installed and the correct port is assigned.
the gerber sorftware asks you if you want to rename the plotters after picking one anyway. -
set it as a HPGL ….. and works perfectly !!
