    can anyone direct me to any free DVD Decoder software?

    Can any of you technophobe wizards direct me to any free DVD Decoder software, preferably one that don’t come with Trojans and spyware attached

    Try searching for VideoLan or Microsoft media player classic. Divx is a compressed mp4 codec. What you need is the decoder for mpegII. I would reecommend VideoLan as A)its free (open source) B) it will play loads of filetypes.
