  • can anyone advise with exporting to eps please?

new problem developed on new computers.
old amd system been ok for several years, i built one new system duo amd with sata2 disks and corel v10 and x3 crashes on exporting to eps for colour rip.
    xp pro

no pattern to it not every time just to catch you out.

size or complexity does not seem to matter.

i then built for myself another comp intel quad with sata2 disks and the same problem occurs.

it does make the eps and is saved but crashes as the corel screen starts to rebuild

so the common things seam to be the disks

    any pointers please

What chipset is the motherboard Chris? Nvidia chipsets apparently had a stability problem with SATA drives and released a bios update. Just wondered if yours was nvidia. Maybe worth trying to see if bios update available. The instability problem came in various guises such as corrupt data, blue screen of death, shutdown, freezing. Hope it helps.
