  • can anyone advise on fitting two colours of vinyl?

Hi everyone. I am still new to this. I have a question about outlines using 2 different colours, when fitting to a van would you lay up the 2 layers on the van, or do it back at the shop?

    Thanks Nik

Depends a bit on the size & complexity of the image, but I would normally layer up on the van as each layer is then squeegeed down smoothly.
Whenever you try and squeegee two layers together you can not get all the air out at the edge of the overlap.
However if using cast over curves you would have to layer up first so the two colours are stretched evenly.

Same as Stuart, lay it up on the van. I know some people will say lay it up on the bench first but as Stuart says you can cause yourself all sorts of problems with removing trapped air if you apply both layers together.

definitely on the vehicle. try using this following method shown in the tutorial video, but on a vehicle, have your line at the "top, above" the graphics.
