    Hello all

    I wonder if anybody can help me. i have a job that i need laminating, its a part wrap for a van. We have printed the job and need the laminate applying, We have a laminator on order but it is not going to arrive on time to do the job. We are based in Castleford. Can anybody help?

    you could try clearview in Royston, Barnsley. (DAVID)

    or possibly Liam @ IH Equipment in pontefract, they have a 1400 Laminator.

    How wide are the pieces of printed vinyl? Did you tile the image?

    I think you said "part wrap."

    The reason I ask is that you could easily & quickly create a hand squeegee out of wood and felt that WORKS…

    I made one 38" wide that I use for posters printed at about 29" wide. This leaves some room for movement (or error) as you push the overlaminate onto the print. The low haze of very small bubbles diffuses out after one to two days.

    Total cost around $30 for materials at any hardware store.

    Could be done in two hours including the trip to the store for materials.

    You need a good table and the max length for this would be around 48" depending on the table you have to work on.

    Just an idea…
