What environment is the car to be in Simon, is it snow, jungle, desert, etc. this will determine the camouflage required.

….but are you sure someone isn’t taking the piss 😕

I dont think you can get "camouflage vinyl" hexis used to stock it, but the guys in the warehouse could never find it to ship….

seriously, though, depends on the colours you need , and if you need a proper camo as opposed to a stylised one, if the car is one colour you could apply one or two more as the shapes. so any good cast would do the job. if you are after a total wrap, then you need a printed wrap material, with a laminate,

If this to be used on a public road I’d refuse the job immediately, I cannot see the insurance company of said vehicle insuring a car that isn’t going easily noticable, its just asking for trouble get a written disclaimer as wrapping a car to be used on the road in camouflage is just idiotic to the extreme

Yeah – look at all these army Landrovers causing traffic accidents everytime they venture out on the highway – they should be banned I tell ya 😕 ….. 😳 …

…….Okay, maybe not camouflage, but an invisibility cloak – yeah an invisibilty cloak like in James Bond – they should be banned I tell ya 😕

I’m having real trouble getting my head round you reasoning.
Since when were cars driving on roads past buildings etc. in the style of military DPM ever going to be ‘hidden’? It’s not a Klingon cloaking device.

    Green/Brown styles…FORESTS. White / Grey style…Arctic tundra. Brown / Tan…Desert.

It’s designed to blend in by disrupting the recognisable outline…I’ve yet seen a large 3D box on wheels blend into any urban environment wrapped in blue, brown or green splodges!

That said…if they wanted it wrapped as a rubbish filled skip, a group of Burberry clad chavs or shock, horror…a car it might fit in and be camoflaged. 😉

In answer to the O.P., as said a nice cast vinyl if the car’s base colour is to be used – or a fully printed & laminated wrapping vinyl.

Here’s one that’s been done http://www.uksignboards.com/viewtopic.php?t=37743 (Not sure how this would be NOT easily noticable…).
