I performed a head clean (through the maching, not a manual one) yesterday, and after I got an error saying ‘check heater voltage setting’ so i turned off, and on again and get the same message.

I not only get the message about 10 seconds after the machine is turned on – the 2 switches on the bottom are both set to ‘230V’ which is correct so I have no idea whats wrong?? The room temp is about 20C can anyone shed any light?

    thanks

I have this with my cadet from time to time, even had it when it was still under warranty, no one got to the bottom of it.

as you say the switch is to 240v, normally just turn the machine of and on again clears it for me

thanks for the reply Paul. I have turned the machine off, tried different power cables, put a surge protector lead in, and tried different sockets and it still comes up 🙁

The few times this has happened to me just a simple turn off at the main switch, leave a minute and back on has fixed it. Not sure what the reason is for it happening but maybe an update to the latest firmware may cure it?

Have you switched the heater switches to 110v and back to 220v to see if it’s just the switch being dicky?

Download the correct one from the roland dg website and then read the instructions :lol1:

I still have this problem when I boot the machine up but can carry on using it as normal.

when i try and print, i send it to the printer, and the printer says ‘now processing’ but then the computer says ‘lost connection with printer, check connection and settings and try again’

im using a 1m usb with a 5m extension – could this be the issue?

You need to use a shielded usb cable whatever length it is, some people do get away without but most don’t.

Maybe, it’s actually a genuine problem and needs an engineer

possibly right on the limit if it has to be that long you can get a booster cable
