Cable sytem window display supplier – Brass?
Bloody customers!
I’ve recently quoted a job for cable system (like you see in every estate agent’s windows) and the customer has asked if this is available in brass.
Is it? Does anyone have a supplier?
Personally, I think the regular steel components look alright in pretty much any surroundings, but they have about a squillion quids worth of oak panelling in the room and want it to look as traditional as possible. If, in fact, that is possible with a load of perspex document holders hanging in a window!

Give Martyn Kiddey at Pinetree a call – they have a good range of traditional brass fittings or if your customer is really flush try Fairfield

Thanks for that matey. Pinetree do some really nice stuff. I may have convinced the customer to go for something very expensive! This pleases me as it is for my financial adviser which means I can recoup some of that cash he robs off me every year!
By the way, after much searching, it seems no-one else sells brass-finish cable system, so if you need any don’t bother looking all over the tinternet for hours on end.

I think it’s unlikely that you’ll get a gold finish cable system ‘off the shelf’
May I suggest buying the standard steel/aluminium system and blowing it over with satin gold spray paint – it will look the business!
