  • Buying My First Machine – Advice Needed

Hello- this is my first post, and I hope I am posting to the appropriate forum. If not, I apologize.

I am a jeweler trying to (1) diamond drag, (2) mill engrave, and (3) cut metal sheets (sterling silver and gold filled, 1mm thick) into name pendants. My jewelry pieces are small and generally flat, and the production volume is not that large.

I am now looking into U-MARQ GEM-FX5, but I live in the States, and cannot find many reviews of this UK machine/brand.
So I thought perhaps posting to a UK-based forum might help.
Does anybody have experience with this machine or the brand? Are their machines well built? How’s their technical support?

As an alternative, I am also looking at IS400 by Gravograph. I welcome any other recommendations.

    Thank you very much.

I have always bought Gravograph. Expensive, yes, worth the cost? definitely.
