Is there anyone in Scotland who sells plotters?

I would like to see one in action before parting with my hard earned and would rather buy local if possible.

    Many thanks

You could try Silverskies, they are in Dornoch.

    sorry,
thought I had replied to this question once, must be groundhog day.

Anyway, you do not need to see a reputable make of plotter in action, they all do the job, what you need to do is decide on what sort of work you will be doing, size and quantity wise, then decide on how much you want to spend, then…
    ask on here for opinions.
You will not be able to see every make of plotter demonstrated, (even at sign uk) so again ask here for opinions.

    Hi guys

Thanks for the help (especially Fred – very generous)

I should have been clearer in my original post:

What I was wanting to know is; if I do make a decision on a particular machine is there anywhere in Scotland that would I be able to actually go and have a test drive before buying? Thats all.

    Thanks again.

BTW why was my post mod edited?

    green?

it depends on the brand you choose, Im sure there are suppliers north of the border, but like I said earlier, decide on the machine that most suits your needs, and budget, then see if you can find a supplier to demo it..
If I was buying a car, I would have already have made out a short list from all the info that is available, of what I would prefer, I would then look for a test drive
