Never done it for them and I can’t recall what the graphics look like but what i would say is ….. we charge £25 per hour labour, therefore; if you can fit the graphics to each van in 2 hours or less then ok, if not ….. then whats the point, your not in business to give your services away.

Perhaps someone else may have done this before and might be able to comment further?

Didn’t whassisface……drummer bloke…..erm Steve thingy do one of these a while back. He posted a picture. The blue and red text layout rings a bell. If it’s the one I’m thinking of it’s no more than an hour’s work.
It also depends how many they want you to do. If it’s a few at a time, it could be quite a good job as you tend to get quicker at things like this the more you do. Of course, it also depends on how quick you can stick.

I quoted on doing a fleet of 75 vans.. (van hire company) i quoted £40.00 each (with them supplying the vinyl) which i thought wqas very cheap.. they got them done for £25.00 each 😮 , but that was by the company that supplied the graphics, they must have made all there money in the vinyl
Sham it could have been a good contract….

about 6 years ago we were fitting virtually all the graphics on the previous design, as shown in Rob’s pictures on the white vehicles, they now have changed to a simpler design in red and blue as stated. Action graphics here in Birmingham have the contract to supply them all, they fit them if its local to them if not they supply only. we were charging 75.00 then for the sprinters 1 guy 2 hours plus half hour travel to and from site at their main eurohub in Brum. we had a shot at supplying a quote for the whole contract, but to no avail, they get them cheap enough i guess because we went in keen.
the only prob we had is they take forever to pay up for the work, also you will probably end up doing them at awkward times, i.e. evenings/weekends to suit the drivers. they are constantly looking for cheaper installers as ever the case. easy enough to fit though. they are standard 5 year vinyl and cheap application paper.

    regards
    Kevin
