As the title says, thats what I am looking for. What I must have in the software is instant access to customer data. For example; when a known customer comes into my shop, I type in their name , and I can then see all the past details from this customer. I also need the software to be capable of producing the normal business accounts, balance sheets, profit and loss etc. Must be VAT capable too.
Any recommendations? There are many on offer on Amazon but I have no idea which one to choose.
    Earl.

We’ve been using MYOB for about fourteen years.

That does it for us, but your requirements may be different, so you will need to check feature lists.

You’ll be upgrading to their new software no doubt as MYOB is discontinued I believe.

    Hi Earl

I have been using Clarity Pro for 4 years now and it really is a good product. I would recommend it to any sign or screenprint business. The
technical bacup and helpline is excellent and they are always updating and adding features at no cost if you have the Clarity Pro and the service
agreement which is between £19-00 and £35-00 depending on whether you have all the modules that are available. I found that we do not need all the available modules but we have added some as we have grown.

    Well, yeah, OK. 😀

We are currently running Account Edge Plus, but it’s the same thing really.

It’ll take me at least two years to get used to the name change. 😀

We use QuickBooks, takes a bit to get the hang of it but does everything we need it to do.

If you want ‘easy-peasy lemon-squeezy’ (has to be for me) :lol1: :lol1:
    try Cashbook Complete from acclaimsoftware.com,
There’s a free demo download, and it has everything needed, some people are put off because it doesn’t cost mega-bucks, but I’ve been using it for years now, no probs. 😀

Sage instant accounting is my weapon of choice. It allows you to build a customer database and has a wealth of reports that helps you to run and understand your business. I wouldn’t be without it.

For complete customer databases and quoting/invoicing modules I use Quotewerks. For accounting I use Quickbooks. The 2 programs "talk" to each other so a click of the button and all invoices get entered in to Quickbooks automatically.
Quotewerks is fully configurable by the user without any expensive support contracts. Not quite as straight out of the box like clarity but it’s my preference.
