I’ve had that backfire on me once or twice…turns out it was a bit ‘home made’ and they were incredibly proud of their efforts.

I tried letters when I first started trading as / with this company. Return was near nil.

However – i can almost guarantee a bit of cold calling will generate SOMETHING.

I did a local high street a few years back and took 7 jobs out of it in one day. Included 5 full fascias and a few ‘cheapy’ jobs…not bad for an couple of hours work…

sad thing is – everybody is doing that now & pickings are slim…

    Georgie have you a website?
That is the best way to introduce yourself to a new customer.
Nice site with pix of your work (mine’s a GoDaddy one very affordable)
New cards with your web addy on them.
New livery on your vehicle with your webby on it.
If you are truly struggling with the verbiage on your letter PM it to me and I will put on my school teacher outfit and help you with it.
    Love….Jill
