BugARTi Wrap unveiled for Wilton House Super car show

Popbangcolour’s BugARTi unveiled for Wilton House Classic and Supercar show. There has been an explosion of colour at Raccoon HQ when a Bugatti Veyron turned up to be wrapped in a magnificent ‘Popbangcolour’ artwork created by artist Ian Cook who ditches the paint brush and solely uses remote controlled cars to paint with.
Using Ian’s artwork of the classic Gulf Le Mans cars (the Porsche 917 and Aston Martin LMP1) as the focus of the wrap Raccoon reproduced the work, scaled it up ensuring it could be applied to the supercar’s bodywork. A blue and orange base colour was built in to the design giving the BugARTi a classic Gulf identity. After the printing of the graphic, Raccoon’s team of applicators carefully fitted the stunning work completing this truly one off Bugatti Veyron. Since then, the supercar became aptly named the BugARTi Veyron.

Artist Cook commented: “It has been a great opportunity to create such a wrap. The end result looks great and I’m looking forward to seeing and hearing people’s reactions.”
Managing Director Richard Clark said; “The BugARTi Veyron project is a magnificent one off, on one hand we have a car worth an untold amount of money and on the other we have a mad scientist artist who uses remote control cars to paint with. These two meet and the result is a spectacular wrap that gives the Veyron a completely new identity using the classic blue and orange of the Gulf Le Mans cars. We are confident that some jaws will drop at the show.”

The BugARTi was the brainchild of Lord Pembroke and Ian Cook who wanted to create something spectacular to promote the 4th Annual Wilton Classic and Supercar show at Lord Pembroke’s home, Wilton House, Salisbury on Sunday 5th August.
The event promises to be an action packed day out for car enthusiasts and families, featuring national and local car clubs, major motor manufacturers, a wide range of food and drink stalls, and an ever growing programme of entertainment. Visitors will be able to see the elegance of the classic cars with the engineering excellence of some of the world’s most iconic supercars.
Since the launch of the BugARTi there has been a lot of excitement around the internet with the car being featured by MSN cars, Auto Express and Top Gear websites.
