Budget/ Cheap vinyl recomondations
Hi, I do a lot of short term graphics and obviously i want to make this as cost effective (for me) as i can.
So my question is, has anybody got a preferred budget vinyl that they use? i currently am using ritrama l&m series, which is pretty nasty to weed but not too bad to fit. Has anyone got any recomondations for vinyl in the £40-£50 a roll bracket?
I also stock a large range of avery 600/700 & oracal 751 for all other jobs, before i get a lot of messages that i shouldnt be using this cheap vinyl ! 😀

Metamark series 4 – I’m paying £1.12 PLM 610mm
I wouldn’t call it a ‘cheap’ vinyl but is cheaper than their series 7.

Just remember that it’s not just the raw cost. As you say L&M is bad to weed. So the saving of £1 a metre might be costing you £2-£3 in wasted time…
I tossed out all of the l&m that a past employee had been hoarding. Vile stuff.

I must take a look at the metamark series 4, how do you find it?
You have a point there about time wasted, although its mostly pretty large graphics so there isn’t too much weeding, but £1 a metre might be a small price to pay for a more pleasurable time at the weeding table lol

Series 4 is ok. It’s a little thicker to use than their series 7. Just needs a little more persuasion to weed it.
Thats my price from Metamark not sure what the retail of it is.
Had another rep call in from another supplier they saw what I pay from metamark and promptly left. They seem very competitive and have great quality.

also looking for cheapest vinyl only has to last 10 mins as its used for template checking and the odd mask.
