Bryce 5.5
Hi all,
Don’t know if anyone is interested in 3D landscape generators but a pretty good program has just been made free bryce 5.5.

and what looks like a good tutorial at

shows some interesting effects, maybe a bit of a learning curve but might be of use it can import real world map data (DEM).
