    Hi
NEW TO THIS FORUM AND WOULD APPRECIATE SOME HELP.
I HAVE A BROKEN ROLAND PC60 THERMAL CARRIAGE. SMALL PICE OF PLASTIC BROKEN OFF AND WON’T GLUE – HOLDS A SPRUNG PLASTIC ARM IN PLACE WHICH IN TURN GRIPS CASSETTE.
IF ANYONE CAN HELP AS ROLAND NOT BOTHERED – REALISE ITS AN OLD MACHINE BUT ITS GREAT FOR THE SMALL GOLD/SILVER LABELS WE PRODUCE – SEEMS A SHAME TO BIN BECAUSE OF SUCH A SMALL PIECE.
HAVE BEEN ADVISED THAT MAY BE ABLE TO GET FROM AMERICA BUT CANNOT FIND ANYTHING ON GOOGLE. ANY IDEA OR A NAME FOR A ENGINEER WHO MAY STOCK PIECE.! HAVE SEEN NAME ON HERE BEFORE BUT CANNOT FIND IT NOW!!!

    REGARDS
    JAME

    Hi Jame
If it is just 1 carrier and you only do small jobs you can still run CMYK and one spot colour. well I think you can.
    cheers Mike

    Hi
run a small graphics and sign business in bakewell derbyshire.

the broken piece is on the thermal carrier – now glued on and clip back in but will not pick up cartridge!!! the only way i could get it back on was to move the head out on the white thread so that i could get access!! maybe i wasn’t supposed to do that. any ideas??
Have spoke to roland who don’t do parts anymore = put me onto a guy called kerry from cammtech – very helpful, who then put me onto cammtech in usa for parts – this is as far as i have got so far.
Rest of machine is fine so reluctant to rid just yet.

    regards

Nice intro Surprised anyone wants to help at all. Their is a company in California who have parts however. Many people want to hold onto their Roland PC parts as they are getting rarer and rarer. Good luck with the search

As much as you want but the more people know the more they can help usually. Everyone is really friendly and are always glad to offer assistance, plus you may have some skills or knowledge that we might be able to tap into 😉
