Brilliant addition to our laminator
One of the things that annoyed me most about our laminator was the way in which you had to load the roll of printed material onto it. It’s an "easymount 1600" which has a bar on the back which you slide your material onto, then lock it in place using 2 bolts. Real pain in the a** if you’ve a pile of different rolls to laminate constantly loading & unloading.
We managed to get our hands on 2 large rollers from a conveyer belt manufacturer which we in turn fitted into a wooden frame. This allows me to sit the rolls on the roller and feed the straight in doing away with the bar on the back. The only time it’s used now is if something has to be very accurately laminated. Swapped it for a job we done for them so not sure what the rollers would cost to buy. Whatever they would be they’d be well worth it as it saves so much time and hassle. I’ve also worked out a pretty weird way to load the laminator which saves a fortune of material and time as well. Bit hard to explain so will make a video soon showing how it’s done [emoji846][emoji846][emoji846]
