I’ve been asked if I can bond some ali cut out text to a stone wall in a shopping centre. They don’t want locators because it’s a listed building & they are not allowed to drill into it, so not many options I can think of!

OK, if I wanted to bond a 2′ square of dibond, no worries – slap it up with No More Nails, but these letters are in Century Gothic Light so there won’t be much in contact with the glue. Also, the mastic doesn’t go off straight away so they might slump down before it hardens – nightmare.

Has anyone done this sort of thing? and any tips?

    Cheers,
    Richard

I have used the ‘Pink Grip Fill’ which has ‘instant grab’ for similar jobs. But I would rather be trying to hide small screw holes than get it off when the letters come down.

    Do they have planning consent?

Just curious if it’s a listed building.

Just had a local co instructed to remove signage for a, Being in a conservation area. b, Obscuring windows of a listed building.
