    Hiya

I am going to bond on a 10mm strip of foam board on the inside of a opal acyclic sheet for a lightbox and was wondering what people have used in the past as there is so many bonding agents out there.

    Thanks

martin, I can’t think I have ever bonded foamboard to acrylic.
If your doing a hanging strip then why don’t you just use a strip of acrylic ? Thats what I used to do.

If your not sure what adhesive to use then it’s worth giving Eurobond a call, they make a range of adhesives and have always been very helpful when I’ve called them.

i was just trying to use what i had in stock. and knew that foam has been used in the past on normal signs. the only problem is i would like it quite thick as you can see in the photo i will have to screw self tappers into it to hold the acrylic in place. or is there another way am not seeing?
