    Nice work Colin.

I am not that familiar with boats, did you seal or was it indeed necasary to seal the edges?

They were applied the same way as you would a vehicle – applied wet allowed to dry naturally not sealed – myself and Trevor from new forest signs in hamphire were combining efforts to complete the project – three days before the race started in portmouth harbour we had to apply over 100 business members logos along the top egde approx 700mm long each of the twelve yachts has bow logo to be fitted either side and we hade to transfer 3 whole boats as in photos attached – the weather was awful and we had to work in a dinghy most of the time – the last graphics was applied in the dark around 7pm in the rain a day before the race – apart from that i was glad to hear only one large logo fell off
    a job well done

Looks like you did a good job Colin,
Hope it was as lucrative as it was difficult.
Why did one fall off? not being funny or fascisious, was it because the wet application had not dried out properly, as you were on a deadline?

    Hi pete,
The one that got away was a digital printed 4`x3` it was applied in a dinghy by trev in a force 3 gale ie a bit choppy – the graphics was applied right next to the boot line at the bow – it could of been the sticker was still not dry but apparntly when they landed in boston we shipped out another with was applied by themselves but had two weeks to cure but the same thing happened – another was sent using this very expensive vinyl and again it fell off – so we put it down to the surface of the paint as it was only one side
as for the other question – put it this was it paid for my unifrom cadet
