Hello all wondering if anyone can help. I have had my pcut 630 for about 3 months now and everything has been fine, I turned it on today however and it will not start-up. The fan and everything will start up but the lcd will only display some very faint black squares. This normally happens if the blade caddy hits one of the red buttons on either side. Not sure why it is happening now and would be very grateful for any ideas.

    cheers
    matt

if its only 3 months old you need to take it up with the supplier,
it should be covered by warranty, or standard consumer rights.

Thanks for the reply Peter, I have just figured it out. It seems that you get the cutter to do a reset by holding down one of the red buttons while turning it on???? Maybe it’s time to buy a graphtec.

Correct, the red buttons on either side are reset buttons that stops the machine if these are hit by the blade carrier. I think this feature is some kind of protection for the motor mechanism. The trick is to set the width of the vinyl material whenever you cut so much so that the blade carrier will not hit these buttons.
