I’d like to say a big THANK YOU to Rob for arranging a great time at SignUK.
The food was excellent!!!!!!!!!!! A great restaurant Rob, well done. Elton was a bit like Larry Grayson, but hilarious and VERY entertaining. 😀
I’m sure I’m not the only one who appreciates all the effort, organising and planning you’ve done.
    So thank you. :thumbup2:

    ………… can’t wait for next year. 😀

I’ll save all the gossip until friday night then spill the beans 😉

Absolutely agree. Rob couldn’t have done more to make sure this was a great time for everybody. So much time and energy (not to mention expense) was put into ensuring we all had a good time.

I even enjoyed Elton John ..a bit 😕

Yes, it was good to meet everyone and it was even worthwhile going to tour the show – saw lots of really interesting stuff.

Rob’s organisation was great and made everything so easy.

And Elton was OK – he had a hard shift entertaining us when we really wanted to chat and drink.

    Thanks a lot Robert 😛

I can only echo the above sentiments.

    Top job Mr. Lambie.

Put me down for next year, and those of you who couldn’t stay over have exactly one year to organise your lives a bit better.*

    * not applicable to Martin and others where it was due to circumstances beyond their control.

added on edit: Peter, I can post you a gallon of petrol. Where are you? 😀

Absolutely Brilliant time with the ‘ol bunch
Great to meet up with everyone again
Has some real good laughs at the bar and at the LSQ2

I thought Sir Elton was very good although we couldn’t quite (chat.)
    But brilliant entertainment
And what can I say about the food? It was delicious
I thought it was good to see that the chef was out and about to look after us
Buffet seemed to be the easiest solution for us all

    It turned out brilliantly ……..
so a big THANKS to Rob for the hard work for the weeks of worry to get it sorted for us

Someone sort out a Sat Nav for Dave though :car:

Well I can only echo the sentiments of all above. well done Rob. For me it was excellent to meet everyone, such a great bunch of people. Wish there was more time to meet all the people I just had the chance to say hello to.
We all had a great time, even Rhona and Sharon who don’t really drink. I had to give up around 1am – Long day, but I’m sure that next year will be fantastic.
Thanks again to Rob, and everyone who made it such a friendly event.

thanks a million for the comments everyone, i really enjoyed myself meeting up with you all… had a great time, everyone of you were great company. i keep thinking about stuff and laughing… watched Andrew Boyle on you-tube just there and found it hilarious, reminded me of about 3 or 4 of us making squelching noises with our mouths saying 7 eleven… :lol1: sorry, i know that wont make much sense to anyone reading it… (you had to have been there) :lol1: :lol1: 😳
    maybe next year? 😛

i deliberately never used the site to promote us all meeting up simply because less than 1 week after i mentioned privately to various members that had said they would like to meet again after last year, all 20 of the hotel rooms i had reserved for us were took and i found it hard to get another bulk booking of rooms without having to commit to a contract.
anyway, till next year everyone! 😉 :lol1:

shane it would be brill if you could join us all next year mate… 😛

Thank you Rob for all your hard work, it was fabulous, even ‘Elton’ was good, despite the loudness of his music.

I think it is a credit to the way Rob’s site is run, that a group of people who are competitors in business can all give so much to each other, in so many ways.

    Cheers Rob!

he was pretty loud Lorraine, i think its probably because it was setup in a restaurant and hes probably used to large function halls and that kinda thing. im just glad we switched to Elton from Abba at the last minute. 😕 :lol1:

the restaurant manager said there was 43 of us in the restaurant, which isnt bad considering allot that met up at the show couldnt stay behind for the meal. martin cole, Richard Urquhart, john harding, ian johnston, Andy Gorman etc etc

thanks also to debbie astles of grafityp, peter horner from ezy-taper, Cameron Steer and i forget the other guys name from Europoint for joining up with the rest of us. 😀

Probably the best laugh I’ve had in years!

    Can’t wait for next year.

Great to meet you all finally as well – seems like much more of a sign family now!

i personally had a brilliant time, was great to meet you all, what i found funny was that by 3am, i coulda carried on til dawn, but by 5am i was awake and wishing i’d not carried on at all !

next year is a definite, even the mrs said she’d come, says she missed me 😳 (keep a check on me i suspect !).

anyway, big personal thanks to Rob, and all concerned who helped make it a fantastic, and now unmissable event.

i even got to see the show of thursday, though i felt like death half the day, wore out my trainers, and have longer arms than when i went in !
