  • Best way to quote and printed signs in volume?

    Hi

Got a chance to supply a national company with a large number of full print to one side of rigid board.

Not sure if me applying digi prints to boards is going to be the most cost effective solution so might be best to have a "Trade Only" company to provide another application but not sure which?

    any advice?

    cheers

At that sort of quantity I would have thought either screen printing or direct to substrate digital would be the cheapest options but can’t help with suppliers.

I would outsource this job in manageable chunks to the geographically closest members of this forum! Keep it in the family…
Pity that counts me right out in New Zealand! I’d be game for 250 or so!

    Simon.

Sorry to disagree, I wouldn`t split it. we did a similer thing, with 2 companies, the finish product was vastley different, keeping it to 1 company , they should all be the same.

If the boards arrive pre cut i would be inclined to do it in house 🙂

Many a time I have sat there mounting boards till the wee small hours of the morning.

As you say tho its all about cost.

IF it had to be brought in already done then I would say Direct To Print BUT again, its about cost….

I find with screen printing that they go powdery very fast 🙁

depends on how many colours but i would have thought screen print would be cheapest.

I very much doubt a printing and applying price would come remotly close to what they would get them for Warren. Even with your RR applicator jobby.

Direct to substarte or SP is the way to go.

Just a case of finding a descent company that will give you a descent trade price…good luck 😕

Thanks All, recommendations will be good. I’ve had one price in so far for direct to board printing and yes it’s not worth trying to do print and apply against their price so need to get some quotes in for direct and screen printing so am now looking for recommendations please.

    Thanks Warren
