  • Best Vinyl to do a "Classic" Mini roof?

    Hi,

As I’m nearing the time to send my Girlfriends Mini to be painted, I’m now thinking about the graphics! (I have to advertise somehow!!) What is the best vinyl to use for say a chequered roof? (I’ve not decided what to put on the roof yet thought). I’d been thinking about Oracal 751c but just wanted to be sure as I don’t want to mess up a £2000 paint job. Also, how would I get the shape of the roof so I can cut it out in vinyl? I just don’t want to be cutting "on the car" as I don’t want to ruin the paint….it’s taken me long enough to get this far without having to have the new paint repaired etc.

    Thanks in anticipation,

    Adam

    Adam.

BMW use mac 9800 for ckecks and flags. (new mini)
    but 751 is fine also

the checks can be done on a 610 plotter in 3 pieces. NEVER cut shapes on the paintwork, unless you are a trained brain surgeon 😀
If you pm me I will email you the roof template for checks.
