    Hi Guys & Gals,

    Relatively new to CNC machining and am looking for a good toolpath generator for .nc
    Any suggestions from users would be very welcome.

    Morning,
    you could look at Vcarve Pro from vectric.
    I’ve recently started using this & am very pleased with it.
    There’s a trial version for download that lets you get to grips with the software without actually outputting a job.
    Hope this helps.

    yep. I can second Vectric for our AXYZ, we are now running that without issues.

    well we evaluated Artcam with Vectric… basically Vectric has most of Artcam features and works very similar at a fraction of the price. Artcam was close but the demo I was sent was buggy when making multiple toolpaths, so we couldn’t test it correctly, we contacted Artcam and they said it was known bug, so my question is ‘why didn’t they fix it’ lol… Contacted Tony and Vectric and he is quick with response and they have a ton of vids on how the software works and some fantastic features, we had very low problems with it so far, hardly anything unlike Toolpath that is just a load a rubbish.

    Vectric cut 2d for me and loads of help on youtube for this software also if you need it
