Signlab has the advantage of allowing you to design and then RIP & print from the one program. But if you’re used to other software such as Corel it’s sometimes easier just to stick with what you know and export files into your RIP of choice.

Well hello back to everyone, what a nice bunch of people you all are, obviously spending far to much time being nice here and not making any money at work, i like that 😛
since i asked my first question, i have kinda found an answer that will suit me.
for years i have been on flexi-sign, (on a mac4) sticking with version 6 (although i have version 7.5 too) stuck with six coz of all the type-font hassle with moving all my old, existing saved jobs to a new operating system (os 10) …..anyway, version 6 is doing me fine, but once i found out about getting this Versacamm, i realised i couldn’t use it as a rip program for the machine….hense my original question yesterday……but, being almost a clever old soul, i booted up my version 7.5 on a new P.C. and went through everything and found a set-up to allow a Roland Versacamm….haven’t got round to testing it out just yet, but hopefully thats a few bob saved .
have a good day guys, many thanks for taking the time to reply. 😎
