    Hi all.

Currently have to quote for this job. Basically, what I need to know is what would be the correct vinyl for this application? I currently use the Avery 600 & 700 range & have had no problems with it conforming to mild curves etc, I’m wondering if this would be too much for it?

Would I need to use the 800 range or even perhaps a specialist film? Job will be for a local firm, so I don’t want it peeling off 6 months down the line.

Car is a black BMW 3 series by the way, so only the blue is vinyl.

    Cheers,

    Gwaredd.

I can only reply on my experience as I also don’t use Avery but I have used it once to do a full wrap and used the 900 series, I would have thought with the curves etc this might be the way to go but I’m sure you will get a more definitive answer soon enough but 900 will work perfect.

    cheers

Cheers mate. After eye balling the car, I’m pretty sure the 600 will stick to it fine. It’s never let me down yet!

I’m not familiar with the vinyl series of Avery, but i would suggest only using a cast for this sort of application, that’s assuming the vinyl wraps round the bumpers rear etc too….

Avery 800 goes on most of our jobs.
Avery 900 usually more suited to what u done on the curve
