I am looking to buy some sort of printer that is capable of printing transfers for clothing.
I have asked in other parts of this forum about screen printing but after seeing the advice I dont have the space and it is too messy for a shop open to customers.
I have seen some samples printed using a digital printer but have no idea what machine is used or what material it is printed onto. It looks like screen printing but I am told it is digital.
Has anybody got any thoughts on a good printer, must have a very good print quality, and what material to use.
One other problem is that it must be washable at 60c. for work wear and printable/iron-on onto black.
I use Sublimation onto Flock at the moment but it is an expensive and time consuming way of doing it.
I am going to the VISCOM fair in Frankfurt at end October. It would be good to go and know what I am talking about.
    Thanks for you help…

You have a few options, roland versacamm which is a print and cut machine (or any of the other solvent printers) also laser printers like the oki 5600 and magic touch papers. Problem i have found with both these is the durability of the print though. Sometimes you just cant beat screen printing but obviously depends on quantity.
