    Morning all,

Interested to hear the different methods that everyone uses for the stretching/folding of canvas corners.

I have tended to simply fold in and have the ‘crease’ at the top and bottom. Similar to the stretching tutorial link posted up by Jason

Did a canvas the other day for a customer who was more than happy, but did comment on the creases and whether they should be there 😮

Does anyone here use a method that avoids these? Or, should I tell these people to stop being stupid and bash them with a soggy trout? 😀

I haven’t had a complaint yet and I’ve done hundreds.

I don’t see a way of avoiding the crease unless you cut the canvas like a cross but then your corners might look funny.

its amazing how much neater they will look if you use an iron to crease them. If you cut them then you risk them continuing to rip across the surface I would have thought?
