Ive used some evo stick no more nails glue but it did not really bond very well. What sort of adhesives have you lot used on flute board?

    any help would be sound

    Thanks Paul

dorotape in the UK are very well priced for the red VHB tape, when I say red it has a red release paper and the tape itself is clear, should do the job no probs.

    cheers

red one is actually the grey tape like you said graeme… 3M stuff comes in white and grey, the white being the better of the two, but i mostly use the grey but accompanied by rivettes.

you could try corribind from europoint display its for bonding correx aka fluted board, hence the name…

    Hello
I was searching the boards for a glue to stick laminated pouches to correx flute board so I thought I would hijack this post.

I’m thinking some sort of glue as I want it to remain a nice flat finish.

    Anyone got any ideas?

I Started to use glue but found that wasn’t quick enough. So no I use the hot air welder from Lister, Works a treat. I make all sorts with it now.

Decal pouch (stops them curling), Art work folder, The list goes on.

Hand held one works, but you have to be steady and quick to get a clean join. The rolling model it best for a straight clean join.

Awesome bit of kit. But then again it should be for £1700.

    Cheers

3M do a doublesided tissue thin adhesive tape. We use it here to stick cnc plastic letters to a glossy surface. Works a treat.

corribond from europoint is what i use….. 😀
but you have to make sure you are able to stick it in one go……..as you cant reposition the boards to the tape once its stuck 😀
