Hi Nic great looking work !
I have been thinking long and hard at doing my stype jag in the carbon fiber what sort of money in materials will I be looking at for the 3m material
Thanks Rich 😀 -
As always Nic, some Top-Notch work there mate… thanks for taking the time to post your work.
I enquired about the 3M Dynoc Carbon Fibre wrap just recently…
I "think" it was about £56 per "linear" metre 1220 wide. but can be bought in increments of "1 metre". however, i think that was the list price, might be best to call them and ask if buying a roll or half roll for a better price. -
they will do a better price for a roll, if you can sell that much.
but then it is NOT guaranteed as a wrap material, use it at your own risk,
I wrapped a wing mirror with it a few weeks ago, and not under scientifically controlled circumstances, but it is now lifting at the edges.
apparently 3m also recommend using it with a primer as well.
Just pointing out that the cost of di-noc, may cost even more when, or if it fails, as no back up from the manufacturerand as an afterthought, will it be easily removed in a few years?
Nice wraps though Nic

Great work Nic, really impressive stuff. Have you had to decommission any of the Ferrari’s or Bentleys yet ? Do you have special insurance to cover working on these vehicles or is it covered on you existing policy ?
